Pono Trailers is proud to offer a comprehensive warranty package for all new trailers purchased directly from us. This includes a Three-Year Structural Limited Warranty, a Three-Year Galvanize Limited Warranty, a Five-Year Axle Limited Warranty, and a Lifetime LED Limited Warranty. For a detailed understanding of our warranty policy, please refer to the Pono Trailers Warranty Policy document depicted below.

Our Limited Warranty is applicable to the original purchasers of a Pono Trailer. The term "Original Purchasers" is defined as the first legal owner of a trailer, excluding authorized Pono Trailers dealers/distributors who have procured the trailer for resale purposes. Please note that trailers purchased before January 1, 2024, are subject to the previous warranty guidelines.

The warranty covers specific defects in your new Pono Trailer. By simply purchasing a Pono Trailer, you are automatically entitled to a One-Year Limited Warranty. To extend this coverage to five years, you must register your trailer with Pono Trailers within 45 days of purchase by emailing us at legal@ponotrailers.com. Please include the following details in your email:

- Registered owner's name and phone number
- Registered owner's address
- Proof of payment
- Vehicle Identification Number
- Trailer photo
- Trailer model and size
- Date of acceptance

Failure to register within the stipulated 45 days will limit your warranty coverage to one year. However, if you do register, your limited warranty will extend to five years from the date of purchase. Please note that this warranty is non-transferable and will terminate if you sell or transfer your trailer.

Pono Trailers is committed to replacing or repairing any covered defective or malfunctioning part at no cost to you. However, all towing, shipping, and postage charges will be your responsibility.

Our warranty specifically covers defects in the workmanship and materials used in the construction of a Pono Trailer. It does not cover scheduled maintenance, towing, shipping, postage charges, damages from accidents, neglect, improper installation or maintenance, alteration, overloading, abuse, misuse, acts of God, environmental damage, or any problems caused by adding or altering component parts. For a detailed list of exclusions, please refer to the Pono Trailers Warranty Policy document.

In case of any issues with your trailer, please contact us via regular U.S. mail at PO Box 1428 Puunene, Hawaii 96784 or email at legal@ponotrailers.com. Include your trailer model, home address, and contact numbers. We will direct you to an authorized dealer in your area for inspection and necessary action.

This warranty confers specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Please note that a valid Pono Trailers' warranty registration must be on file to obtain coverage.

1.1.1 Assurance of Quality
Pono Trailers confidently assures that our products will be devoid of defects for the respective warranties from the date of purchase by the original buyer, subject to certain conditions being met.

1.1.2 Scope of Warranty
Our warranty encompasses the main frame, ramps, PonoBeam, and railings for a period of 3 years. However, items subject to normal wear and tear, including but not limited to flooring, brake lining(s), bearings, and hoses, are not covered. All ancillary parts such as brakes, calipers, jacks, wheels, bearings, tires, suspension, lights, hydraulic dump cylinder, and controls are safeguarded by their respective manufacturer's warranty. The 5-year axle warranty and 3-year galvanize warranties are subject to specific exclusions and conditions.

1.1.3 Limitations
Pono Trailers' sole obligation under this limited warranty is to repair or replace parts at our factory, an authorized dealer, or another approved location. We exclude all other liabilities, including incidental or consequential damages arising from the failure of any parts to operate properly. Any adjustments or repairs to a Pono Trailers trailer must have prior written approval from us.

1.1.4 Warranty Nullification
Pono Trailers disclaims responsibility for damage caused by accident, negligence, misuse, or unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs. Overloading beyond the gross vehicle load rating stated on the certificate plate will render the warranty null and void.

1.1.5 Exclusion of Transportation Costs
The owner of the trailer is responsible for transportation of any trailer or parts to and/or from your dealer, an approved repair facility, or Pono Trailers factory. Pono Trailers is not liable for any such costs.

1.1.6 Disclaimers
This warranty supersedes all other warranties and representations. Pono Trailers makes no further warranties beyond what is stated herein.

1.1.7 Dealer Responsibilities
The dealer is tasked with submitting any claim you wish to make under this Limited Warranty to the manufacturer.

1.1.8 Warranty Claim Procedure
In the event of a defect, return your trailer to your Pono Trailers dealer within five days. If the dealer cannot rectify the issue free of charge and you wish to file a claim, the dealer must send a warranty claim form to Pono Trailers within ten days of the defect discovery. Pono Trailers will respond within thirty days of receipt of the claim. Any defective parts must be returned to Pono Trailers within thirty days of the date of approval to qualify for reimbursement. Pono Trailers reserves the right to establish reasonable reimbursement or parts for any authorized work performed under the terms of this Limited Warranty.
